Legit, packing is hard. Particularly for emotional dressers like me ( I’m a Cancer rising which somehow beats out my Virgo sun when it comes to packing, which is honestly kind of a bummer). How can I possibly know how I’m going to feeeeeel in two weeks? What me and my sort have to do is cover our bases without overpacking. The biggest mistakes I’ve made are either bringing only capital L Looks and then not having anything that feels easy or comfortable or effortless. OR packing so much I get overwhelmed and can’t even see what I have. Those Housewives rolling up with 5 suitcases could never be me, even if I had an assistant and a glam team. Lol to a glam team. I showed up three hours late to get my wedding makeup done because I’d rather stay at the beach every time.

But I digress. In the spirit of legitimacy, this packing list will follow some inspiration, some dream pieces, some things I’ve already bought, some I’m still thinking about and will have to pay extra shipping for, and some steals. For context, I am going to Northern Italy wine region and then to the coast around Naples (my daughter and I are meeting my husband who is already there hosting a retreat). So, of course, I’m organizing this not by necessities, but by fabric and mood. Lez go.
