a Pin of me from last summer in Lake Como for posterity. I was there to host a shopping event for 2 hours and then stayed 2 weeks with my little fam. A dream job!

Here’s something weird about me! Creating fashion market stories soothes me. It’s almost a way for me to shut my brain off. When work was stressful when I was still at Harper’s BAZAAR, I’d step back from bigger issues for an hour and put together an SEO story. It’s good to challenge yourself—really create those new neural pathways—but there’s also something so lovely about leaning into what comes naturally to you. So here we are with me basically creating a market story, and you might have guessed it, but I’ve been a little stressed out lately.

My stress is your gain, though—and really there are far more unhealthy outlets than shopping for an audience. I’m keeping this one all approachable-priced. My love of Pinterest runs deep. It organizes my thoughts in a way that I can’t seem to do myself. So here are some Pins that I can’t stop thinking about, broken down into summer outfit formulas, and how to get them. Why so much silk, you may ask? Why not?

H&M silk blend dress; Heaven Mayhem earrings

This is pure vacation mode. This H&M dress is a lovely surprise—I’d size up to make it look even more elevated.

Flore Flore car t-shirt, Doen shorts, Etsy bag

I love the simplicity of this, but it’s also very textural.

This look is Kallmeyer on pre-order now. If you want the idea sooner-All III satin dress is perfect and I feel in my heart that the Reformation Zenni dress can work here too; there are some sizes on sale in it on anthro; A Emery sandals in brown and on sale in black.

I’ve loved this Kallmeyer look since I saw stylist Caitlin Burke post it on her stories—it’s just the best mix of elevated and summery. And as you can see, I fall hard for a silk satin moment and I’m guessing you might, too.

Vince satin pants; Aritzia top; Cano gold plated necklace
