Why Not Level Up in Every Way?
And shop ten items that let the universe know you won't settle.
Ed note: I wrote this before the fires in Los Angeles started. I am sending so much love to everyone in California. Here is a list of places to donate, but please comment below if anyone has better ideas. My heart is broken for everyone dealing with this devastation.
I do not offer this sentiment from a state of perpetual dissatisfaction, instead it comes from a place of refusal—refusal to settle, refusal to be defined by anyone else, refusal to accept less. As in, don’t buy it just because it’s on sale. Don’t live in lack. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re not enough (I had to watch that Demi Golden Globes speech on YouTube yesterday to get that one dramatic single tear coming down my cheek)—including and most importantly yourself.
Allow all the best in and let the universe know you won’t settle for anything smaller—in relationships, in career, and yes, even in retail.
Below are ten things that feel very special—I either own them or am currently manifesting them. They’re so good you won’t feel the need to swap them for something better, they are the something better . I won’t be attached to them, but they will feel reflective of my authentic desire for beauty, ease, and interesting simplicity. And maybe yours too! Why not?
Miu Miu sunglasses —these are classic but also current and will maintain relevance. Highly CBK coded. I love them.
Leset Margo T-Shirt—Is this a lot for a t-shirt? Yes. But will you buy three others hoping they fit this well? Probably also yes. (Also to note is the brand’s Rio stirrup leggings that are great, and sold out everywhere but here)
Agnelle Leather Gloves (I’ve bought a few vintage gloves and they’re just not sturdy enough, clearly I need to, you guessed it, level up).
Hermes Victoria Bag—I see conversation picking up on this bag. I have had a few saved for the last couple of years and I just love the ease and slight slouch of it. It’s also obviously of impeccable quality and timeless. Here it is in brown, too.
Tineco Vaccuum (The way this changed my life cannot be properly put into words. I use Thieves natural cleaner with warm water in it and it sweeps and cleans the floor at the same time like an actual wizard.)
Crown Affair Dry Shampoo (it’s that good, it feels so light but also like you just washed your hair and is a true beauty game changer.)
Khaite Abigail jean (Danielle are a close second but more of a dress up jean imo)—I’ve resisted denim at this price point but the fit is truly impeccable and I love that little button.
Falke cozy wool socks It’s colder than a witch’s you know what for the foreseeable future and itchy socks just won’t do.
Elsa Peretti Tiffany necklace - This remains on my wish list, let it appear in my reality.
Freda Salvador loafers—these are perfect, no notes.
I am so IN on the loafers, just what I’ve been searching for
I think you've sold me on the Khaite Jeans and Freda Loafers! Literally have been looking for both and these are perfection.
