Why Not Shop My Closet on Vestiaire Collective?
She did a true clean out!
Here’s the thing about my closet—my taste has been incredibly consistent for many, many years. I recently went on a tangent to my husband about how even when I was a young teen in the ‘90s I knew it was a rare and beautiful time for style. The decades that people often referenced then, namely the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, felt costume-ish to me. In contrast, the ‘90s embraced simplicity with a refined approach that’s rarely been matched and so I’ve pretty much never let it go. I just finished Once Upon A Time, Elizabeth Beller’s bio of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. It’s a story-well-told and devastating even though you know the ending. Beller actually interviewed me for it because I’ve been a Carolyn Stan for so long, but alas I didn’t make the cut. But my point here in bringing it up, is of course, that Bessette-Kennedy’s style so wonderfully encapsulates that time.
But back to my personal wardrobe. It’s difficult to edit because I still like everything! But edit I must. I partnered with one of my favorite sites Vestiaire Collective to list my pieces. Vestiaire is unmatched in its authentication—which is huge for me as a buyer. And there are no seller fees (just a smaller processing fee per item) and the seller sets the price—which makes it unrivaled in my opinion from a selling perspective. So onto what made the cut (I need to publish this quickly so I don’t change my mind). Use code kerrypieri10 for 10% off everything on site now.
Ami Paris double breasted blazer which is gorgeous but a touch too big for me so has never been worn, Peter Do pleated wrap skirt I wore to fashion week in 2019 but sadly hasn’t found a place in my less socially full life in the past few years, ditto for the stunning Roger Vivier crystal sandals which are basically new.
I actually own about 3 hats that are this shape, so while I love this Ruslan Baginskiy hat, I do not actually need it. I bought this Balenciaga skirt before Wang took over for Ghesquiere—I love the little panel detail. And I don’t need to tell you how good these Bottega Veneta shoes are or that I mostly wear loafers now.
This is a very comfy Maje jacket that still has its tags. This Frankie Shop navy mini is so cute but I never got around to wearing it. I used to collect Alaia platform boots. I’ve kept two but I am reticently parting with these babies.
This Isabel Marant Etoile jumpsuit and Isabel Marant boots are right on time for the French bohemian trend revival.
A pristine condition Bottega Veneta padded Cassette bag in the prettiest baby blue. Need I say more?
This is a great Apparis jacket but to know me is to know I have too many coats! I love these JW Anderson plaid trousers—they tie at the ankle but I was being cheeky with the styling in the pic. These boots are perfect leather knee-high Loro Piana boots with the most interesting heel.
And directly from deep fall to summer, your dress woes are solved—twice! Cult Gaia dreamy dress I pictured wearing to a summer wedding on a Riviera somewhere. Paired with blingy Miu Miu cat eyes. And a gorgeous Matteau gown.
A vintage Christian Dior skirt suit in a size 4 Petite is a suit dreams are made of. The boots are pony hair Proenza Schouler and very cool.
No notes on this very good LVIR faux suede set. It can be worn together for a cool Aspen moment, or separately.
I love, love my Chanel Coco Crush ring but alas it’s a size 5 and my digits are now between sizes. I could wait it out but I’ll pass along the love instead.
There’s more where these came from, like a Khaite dress, Gucci skirt, and Chloé sunnies. Shop all of my listings here. And don’t forget to use code kerrypieri10 for a discount.
